Amendments to Bulgarian Labor Code
On July 1, 2006 the Amendments and Supplements to the Labor Code Act (ASLCA) entered in force. Changes cover almost all chapters of the Code. Major part of the reform is related to employees’ representatives in the enterprise. This fact imposes review of amendments divided in two main streams:
Companies under Bulgarian Law Incorporation and Taxation General Legal Frame Dated: 2005
Under Bulgarian law business
activities may be carried out through the following companies: Partnership
(general, limited and limited by shares), Limited Liability Company and Joint
Stock Company.
Acquisition of Real Estates Dated: 2005
The acquisition
of real estate under Bulgarian law is regulated mainly by the Constitution of
the Republic of Bulgaria, the Ownership Act, the Ownership and Use of Agricultural Land Act
and the Civil Procedure Code.
Outsourcing of activities by means of contracting out Dated: 2005
Along with the introduction of
market economy principles and the withdrawal of the state from the industry and
services sector, together with the entry of foreign investors in these sectors,
outsourcing has established itself in practice as a commonly used tool for
reorganization and optimization of the business activities of enterprises.
